Bunny Spice Smoothie

Smoothies are great for late dinners, 3 p.m. pick-me-ups, on-the-go breakfasts or sweet — but healthy — desserts. This beautiful creation was thought up last Sunday. It was almost 9 p.m. when I returned home and I hadn’t had dinner yet — something that has been happening quite often these days. The smoothie itself was inspired by a smoothie at The Red Lentil in Watertown, MA. I replaced the cashew milk with almond milk, omitted the mystery “spices” and added a touch of vanilla. Bunny Spice Ingredients 1 frozen banana 1 carrot 2 dates 1 cup almond milk cinnamon 1 scoop vanilla whey (optional) hemp heart topper (optional) Directions Place your ingredients in the blender, adding the almond milk last. Blend, pour into a glass, top with hemp hearts/chia seeds/flaxseed and enjoy! Add ice if that’s something you enjoy in a smoothie. I’m not a huge fan of ice in my smoothies. :)   Add IG post Filed under: Breakfast/Smoothies, Dairy-free, Food & Diet, Gluten-free, Recipes, Vegan/Vegetarian Tagged: almond milk, boston, carrot, smoothie, Smoothies
